    Kevin -

You can purchase his DVD’s from a couple of different sites. I thought they were well done for this sort of thing.

Championship Productions Website carries the inside zone game, the outside zone game, and how to run the 3-3 odd stack defense.

A quick observation on the spread and youth football: This week we’ve seen torrential rain and flooding in Atlanta. As I left my office yesterday I watched two youth football teams practicing in the parking lot in full pads and tennis shoes. Both teams – I’d guess the kids were 10 years old and under – drilled the spread running game in a shotgun formation exclusively. They ran the zone option, power, and counter, and others. They weren’t actually making the option read.

I suppose I’m late to have this realization, but for these kids, a quarterback under center will be like a tv without a remote control…they’ll have little or no concept. When writers talk about skilled spread quarterbacks trickling up to the NFL, I think there is something to that.
