About Smart Football. Chris Brown writes and edits Smart Football. It is dedicated to a technical, if not slightly wonky, approach to all things football. Topics include football history, philosophy, strategy, Xs and Os, gameplanning, probability/decision analysis, and whatever else seems appropriate. Smart Football covers all football, at levels (and neither is it limited by geography, including country), but because of my own biases it tends to predominantly cover college football.
